A few words from the creators:
"I came up with the concept of Bloodlust during a group discussion with my team. We were throwing around ideas of what we could do for our final project for Professor Thornton's class and I brought up vampires. Another one of my groupmates brought up vampires turning into humans and all of the classic tropes that we could make fun of in producing a story about such, like the nod to garlic bread at the end of the film. The last few movies I've been on the crew for were all minidocs or horror dramas. I wanted a change of pace with the comedic aspect of bloodlust, while still keeping true to my own dark flare."
- Emma Hargrave, Director of BloodLust
"The creation of the film was made possible through the collaboration of two production companies NAWE and Yoguely. With a team of seven, we spent two full 12 hour production days carefully setting up each shot. Every take involved decorating the set, blocking the actors, arranging lights, and operating incredibly expensive professional camera equipment. Then several days of editing took place to incorporate music and color grading to effectively tell the story. My favorite part of producing a film is bringing together wonderful people to be part of such a fun, dynamic, and creative process through every phase of production."
- Aida Yoguely, Producer of BloodLust
